Watch: All 8 Arsenal Goal of the Month contenders

The shortlist includes goals from the men’s, women’s and academy sides, with supporters now able to choose their favourite.

Arsenal have opened voting for August’s Goal of the Month, with eight strikes from across the club competing for the award.

Riccardo Calafiori is among the contenders after scoring against Manchester City in the Community Shield final, while Kyra Cooney-Cross is nominated for her long-range effort against Charlton Athletic.

Mikael Yetna is also on the shortlist for his goal against Blackburn Rovers, with Martin Odegaard joining him after finding the net against City.

There is another nomination from the women’s side through Frida Maanum, who also scored against Charlton, while Kai Havertz is included for his goal against Coventry City.

Olivia Smith earns a place among the eight for her effort against Paris FC.

The final contender is James Scanlon, who scored on his debut against Brighton only a few days after joining Arsenal from Manchester United.

Supporters can now watch all eight goals above and vote for their favourite in Arsenal’s August Goal of the Month poll.

Arsenal do not say when voting closes.
