Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber’s twin brother Quinten is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace, according to a report from France.

La Provence report (via GFFN) that Quinten Timber is nearing a move to Crystal Palace, despite only having joined Marseille in the January transfer window.
According to the claims, Quinten has impressed at Marseille and established himself as a key player, with the club keen to keep him.
But Marseille’s financial struggles have made a sale increasingly likely, and a move to Palace is now described as ‘very close’.

Quinten is the twin brother of Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber, and he’s been linked with a move to the Gunners himself on one or two occasions in the past.
Unlike Jurrien, Quinten plays in central midfield, splitting his time between defensive and attacking roles last season. The 25-year-old scored four goals and provided four assists in 2025/26, though all of them were for Feyenoord.
Like his brother, Quinten is a Dutch international, and he took part in the World Cup over the summer. But he won’t have particularly fond memories of the event, having only played 54 minutes when he missed a penalty in the Netherlands’ shootout exit to Morocco.

Jurrien obviously missed the World Cup through injury, and Arsenal will want him back in action as soon as possible. It would be nice for the right-back to have his twin brother back living in the same city as him, even if he’s playing for a different club.
