Arsenal kick off their batch of public pre-season friendlies with a game against Girona on Saturday night, so let’s take a look at the squad for the fixture.

Arsenal played their first pre-season friendly behind closed doors against MK Dons last week, winning the match 3-0 with the help of new signings Christos Tzolis and Illan Meslier.
Tzolis assisted Arsenal’s opening goal of the game, and Meslier came on for the final half-hour to help the Gunners keep a clean sheet.
But it’s now onto the public friendlies in front of supporters, starting with a match away to Girona on Saturday, August 1st at 19:00 BST.

A significant portion of Arsenal’s senior squad are already back in training, including all the players who weren’t at the World Cup.
Five players who were involved on international duty have also returned, with Piero Hincapie, Viktor Gyokeres, and Kai Havertz all getting a full week of training, and Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes both making midweek comebacks.
All five should be in attendance for the Girona game, but their involvement will be based on how they’ve come through this week’s training sessions.
With all that in mind, below is the squad for the match on Saturday night.
