Arsenal have decided to make a move for Kenan Yildiz of Juventus, according to a report, with Mikel Arteta particularly keen on the winger.

Sacha Tavolieri reports that Kenan Yildiz of Juventus is a dream signing for Mikel Arteta this summer, and Arsenal have now decided to make their move in the coming days.
The Gunners are expected to make an approach to Juventus, and the club are described as “fully committed” to the pursuit.
Arteta has reportedly been pushing the move for some time, and Arsenal are now ready to pull out all the stops to try and signing the 21-year-old.

On the Juventus side, Matthijs Pog reports that Arsenal are back in the race for Yildiz, and Arteta is crazy about the player.
The same source adds that Juventus say he’s not for sale, and this would only change if Yildiz pushes for a move. But an offer is nonetheless expected this week.
Juventus general manager Damien Comolli has previously described the winger as “untouchable” and “at the centre of our project”. Comolli confirmed that Arsenal want Yildiz, but added that they wouldn’t sell “even if they offered €100m”.

But the Gunners are certainly still lurking and assessing the situation. James McNicholas reported for The Athletic in recent days that Arsenal are waiting to see if the market makes either Yildiz or Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid available.
For the time being, both players’ clubs are insisting they don’t want to sell. All the same, they look like the most likely attacking targets for Arsenal in the remainder of the summer window.
