Gabriel Martinelli is happy at Arsenal, and he’ll only consider leaving the club this summer for a good opportunity, according to a report.

Sami Mokbel reports for the BBC that Gabriel Martinelli remains happy at Arsenal, and he’ll only consider leaving for an opportunity that suits him.
There have been some suggestions in the media that Martinelli could be for sale this summer, but it seems the player himself isn’t the one pushing those claims.
Mokbel’s report comes in the context of Arsenal’s pursuit of Vinicius Junior, with the Gunners showing an interest in the Real Madrid star as his contract talks stall. Vinicius is set to hold further negotiations with his current club this week.

Mokbel highlights that both Vinicius and Martinelli are represented by the same agency, Roc Nation, so they’ll be fully aware of the implications of a potential transfer for Vinicius.
All the same, it seems Martinelli is currently set to stay, with no reliable reports of interest from the kind of top clubs you’d think he’d consider.

The winger should be back in training with Arsenal soon, having been eliminated from the World Cup at the round-of-16 stage.
The Arsenal players eliminated from the World Cup in the round-of-32 have returned to training already, with Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyokeres, and Piero Hincapie suffering elimination on June 29th-30th and linking back up with the Gunners on Sunday.
Brazil were eliminated less than a week later, so Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes should be involved with Arsenal within the next week.
