Manchester City are trying to lure Arsenal youngster Mishel Nduka away from the club, with the player’s youth contract now at an end and the Gunner pushing to renew.

The Secret Scout report that Manchester City are aiming to tempt 16-year-old Mishel Nduka away from Arsenal. The teenager’s existing contract with the Gunners is at an end, expiring on June 30th, and City are trying to take advantage.
Arsenal are still hoping to keep Nduka around, offering improved terms to the teenager. But as of now, the player is yet to sign.
Other big-six clubs like Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool are also aware of the situation, but they’re currently pursuing other targets. It seems if Nduka is to leave Arsenal, City would be the favourites to sign him up.

Arsenal only recently signed Nduka, bringing him in from Charlton Athletic in September 2025. But youth contracts are only short term, so the Gunners are already in a position of needing to extend his deal again.
The situation is very similar to Kyran Thompson’s, with the player joining in a big-money transfer from West Ham United, but now set to leave for Tottenham Hotspur just a couple of years later.
With older players, a big transfer fee would usually be accompanied by a long contract, avoiding these kinds of scenarios. But that’s not possible in academy football, for good reason. A 14-year-old shouldn’t be signing away half a decade of their young footballing career.

16-year-old Nduka made 10 appearances for the Arsenal u18s in 2025/26, as well as making his UEFA Youth League debut and making a couple of appearances for the u21s in the Premier League 2.
The player also made seven appearances for the England u16s, having also previously been involved with the u15s, with the national team recognising his progress at club level.
