Arsenal have agreed a fee, but the final talks are expected to focus on a €1.5m signing-on bonus before the deal can be completed.

Leandro Trossard is expected to complete his move from Arsenal to Besiktas once Belgium’s World Cup campaign is over, with the Turkish club now working through the final contractual details.
Arsenal have already agreed a deal with Besiktas for Trossard, understood to be worth €18million plus up to €2m in add-ons.
The 31-year-old is now moving towards the signing stage, with reports in Turkey claiming he is set to receive a four-year contract.
According to Sabah, “the Belgian star, who wants a salary of 7 million euros, will move to the signing stage with the approval and the 4-year contract will be completed.”

The report also adds that the ‘only’ stumbling block left to clear is the how much the signing-on bonus will be.
A figure of €1.5m was mentioned but it’s not clear if that’s what Trossard’s reps want or what Besiktas are prepared to pay.
Earlier reports suggested Trossard could earn around €9m a season and that he would not make a final decision until after the World Cup.
The latest information from Turkey now points to a €7m salary, with Besiktas expecting the transfer to move forward in the coming weeks, depending on Belgium’s exit and the agreement of the bonus.
Trossard scored eight goals and provided 11 assists last season, maintaining the reliable output he has produced since joining Arsenal in 2023.

His arrival came after Chelsea hijacked Arsenal’s move for Mykhailo Mudryk, with the Gunners having spent the winter of 2022-23 pursuing the Shakhtar Donetsk winger, agreeing personal terms and believing they were in pole position before Chelsea made a higher offer and completed an £88m transfer.
With only days left in that window, Arsenal turned to Trossard, paying around £27m to Brighton for a player with four seasons of Premier League experience.
That move proved an excellent pivot.
Trossard went on to win the Premier League with Arsenal, while Mudryk has been suspended from playing for four years for a doping offence.
