Bradley Barcola has decided not to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, potentially opening the door to a summer transfer for the Arsenal-linked winger.

L’Equipe report that Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has decided not to extend his contract, with his current deal to expire in two years.
Barcola had decided to wait until after the World Cup to make a final decision on the extension offer from PSG, and he’s now opted to cease negotiations with the Ligue 1 club.
That call was reportedly for sporting reasons, with PSG offering him a substantial pay rise. Barcola is unhappy at the way he’s been sidelined in PSG’s biggest games.

With a contract extension now ruled out, PSG may decide to cash in. L’Equipe confirm that Arsenal are among the clubs to have expressed an interest in Barcola, along with the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Fabrizio Romano has been particularly keen to push Liverpool’s interest in recent months, and he’s reported again this morning that the player is top of the Merseyside club’s shortlist.
L’Equipe also put Chelsea in the race, but add that Barcola has already turned them down.

Arsenal’s next step may end up depending on Yan Diomande’s future, with both PSG and Real Madrid pursuing the RB Leipzig man.
If Diomande goes to PSG, that would potentially make Barcola available and take Vinicius Junior off the market. If he goes to Real Madrid, that could do the opposite.
But the Gunners won’t want to wait around to see what happens for too long, particularly with Liverpool so clearly ready to pounce for Barcola.
