Ben White and Jurrien Timber have provided updates on their injury situations, with Arsenal returning to pre-season training on Monday morning.

Just hours after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, Arsenal’s first senior players have returned to pre-season training at the club’s London Colney training ground.
The club shared a quick video on their social media pages of the players returning to training on Monday morning, and the clip offered some insight into Ben White and Jurrien Timber’s injury situations.

White’s update was particularly positive, as he confirmed he’s already spent time training with the team during their pre-pre-season fitness camp last week.
“I’ve been training every day,” White said. “Knee’s all good. Started training back with the team last week.”
Timber provided a less concrete update, suggesting he’s hoping to be back soon but without specifically confirming when.
“Getting there slowly, trying hard,” Timber said. “I’ve been rehabbing during the summer, hopefully back soon!”

Arsenal have other injury concerns from the World Cup, with William Saliba having to withdraw from France’s semi-final and Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka dealing with injury problems throughout England’s participation at the tournament.
It remains to be seen whether that trio are able to be involved in training immediately after their summer holidays, but that won’t be for at least another three weeks either way. All three were still at the World Cup until last weekend.
