Arsenal are ready to offer Vinicius Junior more than £400,000 a week if he’ll consider leaving Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.

Dominic King reports for The Telegraph that Arsenal would be willing to offer Vinicius Junior the biggest contract in the club’s history, with the Gunners refusing to allow the finances to prevent their shot at the signing.
King claims Arsenal are ready to explore every avenue to sign Vinicius, with the player in the final 12 months of his Real Madrid deal.
The winger is currently earning £400,000 in Madrid, but Arsenal would be willing to improve on that. Though as it stands, Madrid boss Jose Mourinho doesn’t want to sell and there hasn’t been any contact between the clubs.

In the wake of the news, some have questioned why Vinicius would accept an offer from Arsenal that seems relatively similar to the one he has on the table from Real Madrid.
Both clubs would be offering a pay increase, so if Vinicius isn’t accepting the Real Madrid offer, why would he accept Arsenal’s?
Pedro Barino points out that whilst the net salary would be similar in both cases, the real difference would lie in image rights.
Vinicius only takes 50% of the commercial revenue related to his image rights with Real Madrid, but he’d retain almost 100% with Arsenal. That would give him a major financial boost, even if the weekly wage offer is the same.

Sky Sports News report that Real Madrid will hold further talks with Vinicius’ camp over his future this week, with discussions on finding an agreement for a new long-term deal.
But if an agreement cannot be found, Real could be open to selling, rather than losing the player for free next summer.
