Anneke has been superb and reliable when called upon, one of the best number 2 GK on the market.

Amy Liddiard

Amy has won the U21 Academy league for two seasons in a row and giving her a professional contract would be logical.

Emily Fox

Emily is a world class right back, very reliable and consistent. If the club and the player want to carry on, an extension needs ot be worked on soon. Otherwise a free transfer at the end of next season could happen, but Arsenal have the succession planning spot on on if it happens.

She is returning from her ACL soon and she will be a cornerstone of the Arsenal team for many years. One of the huge talents to have come from the Academy.

Mariona Caldentey

A key player who was the main factor in winning the Champions League and the Champions Cup. The technical leader on the pitch. Number one player on the team sheet.

Kim Little

The club captain, legend. Nothing else to say.

Frida Maanum

A very important player in the rotation, not a starting XI player but one of those who come in and do the job well. Can score goals, deliver assists and defensively strong for a second-striker type. The coach has a lot of trust in her and rightly so.

Laila Harbert

She should be a key player in Arsenal future midfield such is her potential, can play in 6 or 8 without problem. The press has reported she will be sold to San Diego Waves with an option to buy back.

Kyra Cooney-Cross

Had a very complicated season due to injury, lack of trust from the head coach and family problems that made her stay at home. Can she realise her potential in the Arsenal set-up or will she be used again as a rotation player? A couple of midfielders arriving means she will have to fight hard to get a place in the starting XI.

Olivia Smith

One for the present and the future, can improve to become world class soon.

Rosa Kafaji

She spent the season on loan at Brighton. Can she fit in the Arsenal system and in which position? I think it will depend if a good offer comes for her and how deep a squad does Renee Slegers want.

Keep, sell, loan or renew? keep

Chloe Kelly

A clutch player that has a proven record at international level. An excellent asset to the club.

Keep, sell, loan or renew? keep

Caitlin Foord

Do the club need to buy a new winger or extend her for a short contract? Very much the question here, if a new winger comes in to replace her numerically alongside the one who will replace Mead, she does not need to be extended.

Keep, sell, loan or renew? Sell

Alessia Russo

She has developed into a top class forward, irreplaceable.

Keep, sell, loan or renew? Renew ASAP

Stina Blackstenius

She is in her prime, offers a different tactical option from Russo and Agyemang. She scores key goals when it matters to win trophies.

Michelle Agyemang

The third striking option, has already proven at international level that she can do the job as as substitute. As a rotation option when she comes back from her ACL, she will surely be an important player to finish games.

Clearly the club is having a busy window with up to four players already rumoured to come. The sqaud will be strong enough to compete in three tournaments next season (UEFA WCL, Barclays WSL and FA Women’s Cup).
