Leandro Trossard remained cryptic on his Arsenal future in an interview this week, suggesting “we’ll see” what happens next with him.

Belgium are currently in the midst of their pre-World Cup friendlies, defeating Croatia 2-0 on Tuesday, and playing another match against Tunisia today.
Speaking to a press conference ahead of the second game, Leandro Trossard was asked about his role in the Belgium squad, and whether it had changed after Arsenal’s Premier League win.
“I don’t think so,” Trossard responded. “It’s positive that players win titles and bring their experience to the group, but I remain the same player. And I know what I can bring to this team.”

As for his Arsenal future, Trossard wasn’t giving anything away, saying only: “I am still an Arsenal player, and we’ll see what happens this summer.”
Trossard’s future remains a major talking point in Arsenal circles this summer, as the club make a relatively public effort to sign a new left-winger.
If a new left-sided wide player does arrive, it certainly calls into question whether both Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli can continue to get major minutes in the Arsenal team.

For the time being, it’s not really clear which of the two would attract the most interest, if one of them has to leave. Perhaps both Arsenal’s pursuit of a winger and the club’s decision on who to sell will ultimately come down to the offers they receive.
At this point, it’s not surprising Trossard doesn’t have a more concrete update to give. Positive performances at the World Cup could quickly change that.
