Three Arsenal players have made the top-six nominees for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award for 2025/26, as voted by their fellow professionals.

The PFA have confirmed their nominees for the Players’ Player of the Year award for 2025/26, with six Premier League players up for the award.
Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes, David Raya, and Declan Rice have all been nominated, and they’ll be competing for the final prize with Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland, and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
This award is voted on by the players themselves, so they’ve put the Arsenal trio forward as potential winners. Unfortunately, it will be a while until we know the final result, with the PFA Awards 2026 planned for Tuesday, August 25th.

Gabriel made 51 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season, helping the team to maintain the best defensive record in both the Premier League and the Champions League. The centre-back chipped in with nine goal contributions as well.
Raya was also obviously a big part of Arsenal’s defensive success, winning another Golden Glove with his 19 Premier League clean sheets, in addition to another nine in the Champions League. That’s 28 clean sheets in his 51 games, well over half.
Then Rice scored five goals and assisted 11 in his 55 appearances from midfield in all competitions, with his set-piece delivery regularly proving deadly, and his hard work in the middle of the park significantly contributing to his team’s success.

The trio are all worthy nominees for the Players’ Player of the Year award, and it’s good to see that their fellow professionals are well aware of the impact they’ve all had this season. With any luck, one of the three will bring the actual award home in August.
