Arsenal are in talks over a deal to sign Jeremy Monga from Leicester City, amid suggestions that the transfer could cost £10-15m.

Josh Holland of LeicestershireLive confirms that Arsenal talks are underway for the signing of Leicester City youngster Jeremy Monga.
Though Holland reports that Leicester don’t need to sell, he adds that there’s an incentive to do so, as Monga’s sale would be classed as pure profit.
Given Leicester’s relegation to the Championship and the associated loss of revenue, Holland adds that it’s also the case that a big fee for any player is unlikely to be rejected.

The report goes on to say that playing for Arsenal, learning from the likes of Bukayo Saka, and playing alongside youth international teammate Max Dowman, would all be a dream for Monga.
Ben Jacobs reports that Leicester have received as many as eight formal enquiries from top clubs in England and Europe for Monga, but he confirms that Arsenal are the club holding transfer talks at the moment.
James McNicholas reported for The Athletic this week that with Monga having already agreed to sign professional terms with Leicester City this summer, the player could cost £10-15m if Arsenal wanted to sign him.
That would obviously be a major investment for a 16-year-old player, though Arsenal’s owners are reportedly keen on the club signing young players with room to develop.

Monga made 10 starts for Leicester in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and assisting two more. He’s also an England u19 international, making 10 appearances for the side this season and playing alongside Dowman on a couple of occasions.
