Myles Lewis-Skelly was offered out to other Premier League clubs by an intermediary just a month ago, but he’s now changed his future at Arsenal.

Gary Jacob reports for The Times that only a month ago, Myles Lewis-Skelly expressed frustration at his Arsenal minutes and was offered to other Premier League clubs by an intermediary.
At the time, those Premier League clubs believed Lewis-Skelly could cost £60m in the summer transfer window.
But Jacob reports that Lewis-Skelly has now “changed his future” at Arsenal, having returned to the starting lineup in a new midfield role.

Playing in midfield isn’t altogether new to Lewis-Skelly, as it was the position he played as a youth player at Arsenal. But it’s certainly new to him in senior football, as he’d always operated as a left-back under Mikel Arteta.
The 19-year-old ended up back at left-back for the second half against West Ham United on Sunday, but that was an enforced decision after injuries to both Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori.
In all likelihood, Lewis-Skelly will be back in midfield by the time Arsenal face Burnley on Monday, May 18th, with either Calafiori (if fit) or Piero Hincapie starting at left-back.

The fact that people are talking about Lewis-Skelly starting matches in midfield in the final three games of the season, with two trophies on the line, is a testament to just how much things have changed in the last month.
At the very least, the price of signing the teenager should be going up. But Arsenal should now seriously consider refusing to entertain any offers.
