Three Arsenal players have been named in WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Season, with many more currently nominated for the league’s official Fan Team of the Season.

WhoScored have confirmed their Team of the Season for 2025/26, with three Arsenal players making the cut.
Gabriel Magalhaes is the highest-rated defender in the team with a 7.22 rating, whilst Bukayo Saka is tied with Jeremy Doku for the highest-rated winger at 7.25.
Declan Rice just edges past his Arsenal teammates with an average rating for the season of 7.26, with only Bruno Fernandes (7.49) and Erling Haaland (7.53) scoring higher by WhoScored’s metrics.

In other awards news, the Premier League are currently running their vote for the Fan Team of the Season.
David Raya, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Viktor Gyokeres are all among the nominees in their respective positions, and voting is currently open here.
Voting will remain open until 18:00 BST on May 29th, and the final team will be confirmed on May 30th.

For Arsenal fans, winning the Premier League was obviously the most important thing by far. Any individual awards the players might receive are just a nice bonus, but it’s still nice to see a fair number of Gunners among the nominees.
As for WhoScored’s team, Raya feels like the most outrageous omission, with Saliba probably a close second. The two were excellent in Arsenal’s top-performing defensive lineup, giving the team the platform to go on and win so many games.
Hopefully the fans can rectify things by including both in their Premier League Team of the Season.
