Arsenal are tracking Ajax star Mika Godts, with the winger himself open to a move, according to a report.

Football insider Hand of Arsenal reports that Arsenal are tracking Mika Godts of Eredivisie side Ajax, adding that the Belgian would be “very open to joining Arsenal” if the Gunners step up their interest and make a serious play for him.
20-year-old Godts is having a fantastic season with Ajax, racking up 16 goals and 13 assists from the left wing, easily his best campaign in senior football so far.
The winger recently won his third Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month award of 2025/26, underlining how highly he’s rated in the Netherlands.

With his home country of Belgium, Godts was called up to make his senior debut in March, playing 20 minutes as a substitute in a friendly against the USA, before making a start in another friendly match against Mexico.
Given Belgium have qualified for the World Cup this summer, Godts will now be hoping he has a chance to make it onto the plane. Though as he’s such a recent addition to the squad, there are no guarantees.
From an Arsenal point of view, getting a transfer sorted before the World Cup would probably be preferable, avoiding the potential price boost associated with positive performances at the tournament.

Arsenal are clearly on the lookout for the left-winger this summer, and perhaps Godts provides a good mix of strong recent performances and big potential, given he’s still under 21.
The player has a contract with Ajax until 2029, so the Gunners will have to convince the Dutch club to let their top scorer and top assist provider go early.
