Arsenal have finally announced their new sleeve partner, with Deel replacing Visit Rwanda.
Arsenal have announced their new sleeve sponsorship, with Deel, the global payroll and HR plaftform, which replaces Visit Rwanda.
Juliet Slot, our Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our iconic kit and sleeve is one of the most visible positions in world football, and we’re delighted to be welcoming Deel’s name there after they joined our family earlier this year.
“Deel will support how we operate as a club as we enter this next chapter in our relationship. All our partnerships play a direct role in delivering our long-term ambition to win major trophies in a financially sustainable way.”
Alex Bouaziz, Co-Founder and CEO of Deel, added: “When we partnered with Arsenal last year, we said this was just the beginning. Arsenal and Deel are already working closely together, and the club will be rolling out Deel’s platform across its workforce and HR operations in the coming months.
“Having our name on one of the most iconic shirts in world football is a proud moment for everyone at Deel, and a reflection of a partnership built on shared global ambition. We’re looking forward to next season and everything still to come.”
Arsenal launch their new kit for the 26/27 season on Friday but you can get a sneak preview of it here now. You can also see the new away kit here, and it’s a beauty.
Arsenal’s deal with Visit Rwanda ran from 2018 and was valued at around £10m-a-year, prompting sustained pressure from fans to drop the sponsor.
Deel is apparently paying almost twice as much to feature on Arsenal’s sleeves with it reportedly being worth £18m-a-year plus bonuses that could take it up to £25m.
This base rate would place it as the third-highest sleeve sponsorship deal in the Premier League, behind United and City, both of whom get £20m-a-season, but should Arsenal hit their targets it would be the most valuable.
