Arsenal’s UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final dates have now been confirmed, with OL Lyonnes awaiting once again after the holders knocked out Chelsea to reach the last four for the second consecutive year.

The first leg will be played at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 26 April, at 3.30pm UK time, with the return leg set for 2 May at 3pm at Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

The home leg was squeezed into a congested weekend that already included the London Marathon on Sunday 26 April, two FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley, and the men’s home match against Newcastle, which has been pencilled in for 5.30pm on the Saturday.

The scheduling issue was further complicated by UEFA regulations requiring the visiting side to be given the opportunity to train on the pitch the day before the tie, narrowing the available options even more.
