According to journalist Sandra Riquelme Ona Batlle will be an Arsenal player next season.

At the start of the year, it was reported that Arsenal were in talks with Ona Batlle over a pre-contract agreement that would see her follow in Mariona Caldentey’s footsteps and join the Gunners on a free transfer.
Now, Sandra Riquelme is reporting that the deal is done and that Battle will become an Arsenal player in the summer.

Writing on social media, Riquelme said, “Deal done: Ona Batlle will play for Arsenal next season.”
Previously of Manchester United, Battle returned to Spain in 2023 to join Barcelona.
A full-back who can play on either side, Batlle is a full Spain international.

There is expected to be a lot of movement in the Arsenal women’s squad this summer with a number of players set to leave. Katie McCabe has all but confirmed she is on her way, for instance.
Batlle, who is viewed as one of the best full-backs in the game, is a more than adequate replacement.
