Richard Moriarty and Zara Qureshi report for The S*n that Manchester City’s Rodri has been reported to the police by his neighbours for flying a drone outside the windows of their apartments.

The neighbours allege that Rodri’s drone-flying has invaded their privacy and left them concerned that he’s been able to see into their properties.

The report adds that police now plan to speak to the player to ensure he’s aware of the law.

“My wife is very unnerved by it,” one resident said in the article. “One of the benefits of living so high up is that you’re not overlooked by anyone, but now we are being plagued by Rodri and his drone.”

Another resident reportedly told the outlet that he was watching TV with his girlfriend one evening when they saw a green flashing light outside their window.

Greater Manchester Police said: “We have received a complaint and officers are making enquiries.”

TikTok user @jxx shared videos about the situation, claiming to live in the apartment opposite and alleging that “a man constantly flies a drone around my apartment block to spy on people”.

The same user added: “He just flies it outside people’s apartments, he just sits and stares at the apartments, then he goes up a bit, or goes around the other side of the building.”

It’s now up to the police to resolve the matter, and residents will hope that happens sooner rather than later.
