Piero Hincapie captured the mood of the Arsenal fanbase in one moment with Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler, turning around to shush the manager.

In an unexpected turn of events, given the lack of previous clashes with the Brighton manager, Fabian Hurzeler wouldn’t stop whining about Arsenal this week.
Hurzeler began by complaining about the Gunners wasting time before the match had even kicked off, telling his pre-match press conference the Premier League rules need to be changed.
The manager then spent most of the game in the ears of the fourth official or any Arsenal player close enough to hear him, before repeating his complaints again in his post-match press conference.

At a certain point, it all became a bit much, and Piero Hincapie summed up that sentiment in a brief interaction with the Brighton manager.
Hurzeler appeared to shout “f***ing play football” at the Arsenal defender, who turned away laughing. But when the German coach continued to speak in the player’s ear, Hincapie turned back and put his finger to his lips.
The Bayer Leverkusen loanee put in a fantastic performance against Brighton, arguably one of Arsenal’s best on the night. But perhaps the lasting memory of his involvement will be how he dealt with the mouthy manager.

Hincapie has now made 17 starts in the Premier League, showing just how important his signing was. Though he was ostensibly signed as a squad player, the Ecuador international is increasingly coming to the fore as the season progresses.
As one of few members of the squad with title-winning experience, he could be vital in the run-in.
