Brazilian outlet UOL report that Gabriel Jesus doesn’t intend to renew his contract with Arsenal, and he wants to be a key player for a new team after this summer.

Jesus’ camp have reportedly already received several enquiries, and they’re expecting concrete offers during the summer window.

The plan is currently to remain in Europe, rather than returning to Brazil, with the player’s former club Palmeiras under the impression that it’s not yet the right time for him to come back.

According to UOL, the only scenario in which Jesus might return to Palmeiras this summer would be if he doesn’t get any good offers from top clubs in Europe.

Jesus recently signed on with new representation, with Italian football agency Branchini Associati confirming that Jesus is once again one of their clients.

The player’s current Arsenal deal expires in June 2027, so if he doesn’t intend to extend then this is the last summer where the Gunners will have the chance to cash in.

Jesus has only played 781 minutes for Arsenal this season, having missed the first four months of the campaign with an ACL injury. Even after his comeback, he’s been a fringe player in Mikel Arteta’s squad, though he has at least racked up seven goals or assists.
