Everton are leading the race for Ben White as it stands, with the Arsenal hierarchy pushing Andrea Berta to sell well this summer.

Football insider Hand of Arsenal reports on Instagram that Everton are showing a strong interest in Ben White, and they’re currently leading the race for the defender this summer.
Everton aren’t the only club to make enquiries, and Arsenal are clearly preparing for the possibility that White leaves this summer.
Hand of Arsenal writes that Arsenal have made an enquiry for Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento, as reported elsewhere, and also for Alex Jimenez of Bournemouth, whose loan from AC Milan recently turned permanent as they activated their obligation to buy.

The report suggests Andrea Berta has been identifying multiple targets, just as he did last summer, with the intention of narrowing down the list “in the near future”. But Berta has a strong mandate to sell well this summer, and White’s potential exit could set the tone on that front.
White has already been making headlines this week after a late call-up to the England squad, and he’s made a few Arsenal appearances in Jurrien Timber’s absence.
But when Timber has been fit this season, White has generally found himself on the bench, and a summer move appears increasingly likely.

Recent media reports suggested that White would have options to move on from Arsenal this summer, and that he’s looking for more regular first-team football.
Fabrizio Romano also reported in February that Arsenal could be set to prioritise a move for a younger right-back in the summer transfer market, which is likely related to the growing noise around White’s potential exit.
