Liam Rosenior threw expletives at Arsenal players during the warm-up ahead of his team’s defeat and elimination from the League Cup on Tuesday night.

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior would have been frustrated as he watched Kai Havertz end his team’s chances of a League Cup final on Tuesday night, but the new Blues boss was seemingly worked up before the game even got underway.
During the warm-up, Sky Sports cameras caught Rosenior shouting “stay in your f***ing half” and “f***ing stay there”, with Sky reporting that he was annoyed at Arsenal players entering his team’s half of the pitch.
After speaking to one of his assistants, Rosenior walked back out onto the pitch and once again told the Arsenal players to “stay there”.

It was all very performative from the Chelsea boss, as if he wanted to seem authoritative for the TV cameras. The reality is that no one should care that much about what he’s pretending to be angry over.
Unfortunately, Rosenior ended the night seeming a lot more defensive than anything else, making excuses for the first-leg defeat and for his team’s tepid approach to making a comeback in the second leg.
“The first leg, we had a flu virus,” Rosenior complained. “We had a flu virus and had to change the team on the day of that game. I would have been in the club for four days.
“I’ve been a pundit. It’s easy. It’s easy in hindsight. So, if I go and attack the game [tonight], press really high and we concede two goals early, everyone says, ‘what’s he doing?'”

Regardless of how Rosenior planned for the game to pan out, Chelsea never really looked like scoring the goal that was vital for them to get back into the tie.
Rosenior’s team only really went for it right at the very end of the game, and as soon as they left themselves exposed Arsenal pounced and scored the winner.
