Mikel Arteta gave updates on four of Arsenal’s injury concerns on Tuesday, with two in contention to play against Wolves on Wednesday.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta provided injury updates on four of his players in Tuesday’s pre-Wolves press conference, confirming that Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White should both be fit for the match.
“[Calafiori is] fine,” Arteta confirmed. “He was training with us today. He’s feeling better and hopefully he’s fit for tomorrow.”
As for White, Arteta said: “It was just a bit of fatigue. He did a lot in the game and by the end of it, he was feeling a bit of tiredness in the hamstring, but he’s fine.”

The news on Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz wasn’t quite so positive, with both ruled out against Wolves. But Arteta suggested the duo could be in line to return against Spurs this weekend.
“[Odegaard is] not going to be fit, but for Sunday, we are very hopeful that he can be with us,” Arteta explained.
“Kai [Havertz] is the other one that, again, for the weekend, is a possibility. So looking forward to having him in the squad.”

Arsenal’s only other injured players are Mikel Merino and Max Dowman. Merino is out for the long-term, but Dowman rejoined training last week, and he should be on the verge of a comeback now.
As for Wolves, manager Rob Edwards has confirmed that Wednesday’s hosts will be without Hwang Hee-chan and Toti Gomes due to injury. Everyone else should be available, but Edwards is planning to make some changes from their FA Cup win over Grimsby Town at the weekend.
