Viktor Gyökeres said he is focused on improving every day after coming off the bench to score in Arsenal’s 3-1 Champions League win away to Inter Milan.

The Swedish striker started in Milan among the substitutes but was introduced with around 15 minutes left to play, and made his impact almost immediately.
Five minutes after coming on, Gyökeres scored from distance to make it 3-1 after being found by an incredible ball from Gabriel Martinelli, before his finish beat Yann Sommer.
The goal was his third of the Champions League campaign and his ninth for Arsenal since joining in the summer.

“We are doing well in the league and in other tournaments,” he told Sportbladet. “I just try to do my best every day. We are working on and looking good so far.”
Mikel Arteta praised Gyökeres’ influence after the match, saying his introduction came at an important time in the game.
“His jump-in had a big effect,” Arteta told Viaplay. “We really needed him. He’s starting to find that smoothness and I’m very happy for him.”
Arsenal’s win kept them top of the Champions League with 21 points, and extended their run to seven straight victories in the competition, a new club record for the longest unbeaten streak in the Champions League.
Gyökeres added that the result leaves Arsenal in a strong position, but made clear the squad’s focus remains on the next challenge. “I feel good. We won a tough away game today so it is clear that we are in a good position there. But there are still many games left, said Gyökeres.
Asked whether Arsenal can go all the way, Gyökeres added: “We focus on the games we have here and now, but it is clear that we want to win titles.”
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Sunday against Manchester United.
