Arsenal forward signs with new agency

Gabriel Jesus has switched agent back to former representatives Branchini Associati, as his Arsenal contract enters its final 18 months.

Italian football agency Branchini Associati have confirmed that Gabriel Jesus is once again one of their clients, with the player signing a new deal with the organisation.

“We’re delighted to announce that Gabriel Jesus is returning to our family!” the agency confirmed on Instagram.

“The Brazilian champion, currently playing for Arsenal, is ready to write a new chapter with us, full of excitement, passion, and great achievements.”

Jesus is coming to a key moment in his Arsenal contract, with his current deal expiring in June 2027.

Whether the player intends to secure a summer transfer, run down his deal to its conclusion and move as a free agent, or extend his stay in London, he’ll want the help of his new representatives to do it.

The expectation remains that Jesus won’t be moving in the final days of the January window, at least. The striker has always been clear that he doesn’t want to leave Arsenal this month, and he’s just broken back into the starting lineup for consecutive games.

Arsenal also remain in the hunt for up to four trophies, sitting top of the Premier League, top of the Champions League, ahead in the League Cup semi-final, and into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Gunners’ lead at the top of the Premier League was cut to just four points over the weekend, and there are no guarantees of anything in the other three knockout competitions. But there’s a lot for Jesus to play for in north London right now.

After the season ends, perhaps then it will be time to reflect on his long-term ambitions in football.
