Arsenal have just one player in the BBC and WhoScored Teams of the Week following Saturday’s win over Bournemouth and it’s no surprise who it is.

The BBC and WhoScored have revealed their most recent Teams of the Week following the weekend Matchweek 20 fixtures, with Declan Rice appearing in both sides.
Troy Deeney didn’t have much to say about Rice’s inclusion in his BBC team, putting it relatively simply: “Two goals, leader, future England captain – do we need to say anything else?”

As for WhoScored, the stat website’s team is selected based on their rating algorithm, with Rice receiving an 8.46 for his performance.
The two goals certainly would have played a major role in that rating, but Rice also created a chance, made two tackles, three interceptions, and eight recoveries.
It’s not particularly uncommon for Rice to put in such an all-action performance, but it was the first time he’s scored a brace in the Premier League.

Rice’s individual performance was vital to Arsenal picking up the three points, and it was particularly noteworthy considering the midfielder was an injury doubt to feature in the match ahead of the game.
The Gunners will hope Rice has now shaken off his knee problem and is ready to put in another big performance against reigning Premier League champions Liverpool on Thursday.
