Arsenal 19-year-old Harrison Dudziak is currently on a one-month loan spell with non-league club Braintree Town, but just a couple of weeks into that loan he’s already attracting interest from elsewhere.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that there have been enquiries from clubs in the English Football League about Dudziak’s potential availability, raising the possibility he could make the step up the pyramid this month.

Dudziak moved on loan to Braintree on December 21st, with his contract lasting until January 21st. So the January transfer window will still be open when the midfielder returns to north London.

Dudziak has made four starts in four games for Braintree and played 90 minutes in three of those matches. Manager Steve Pitt praised him after his debut for an “outstanding” performance.

Arsenal have sent out a few players on short-term non-league loans in recent months, with Daniel Oyetunde joining St. Albans City and Cam’ron Ismail signing for Uxbridge FC.

But whilst those were undoubtedly useful experiences for the two players, neither featured more than three times across the entirety of their one-month loans. Dudziak beat that tally in his first two weeks.

Braintree have two more games coming up against Boston United and Boreham Wood before Dudziak’s loan expires.

The latter match promises to be a tasty one, as Dudziak was brought in as a replacement for Marley Marshall-Miranda, who left Braintree for Boreham Wood in December. Next Saturday’s game will be a battle between the past and present of Braintree’s midfield.

As for the future, it seems Dudziak is unlikely to stick around at Braintree for the remainder of the season, with plenty of takers interested in another January transfer.
