Toni Fruk’s agent has denied reports that he’s holding negotiations with Arsenal, insisting that wasn’t what he was in London to do.

Earlier this week, Croatian outlet Sport Klub reported that talks had taken place between Toni Fruk’s camp and Arsenal over a potential transfer, with negotiations supposedly in “full swing”.
The outlet even suggested that Fruk was soon expected to sign for Arsenal.
Yet Fruk’s agent Andy Bara has quickly denied the claims, admitting he was in London but emphasising that he’s not in any kind of transfer negotiations for the player at this stage.

“Whenever someone sees me in a city, stories start immediately,” Bara said. “Now, someone saw me in London and here comes this one. There is no story, other than that.
“Many clubs are following Toni Fruk, many are interested, but for now there are no concrete talks or negotiations about a possible transfer of Toni. With any interested club.”

24-year-old Fruk is having a strong campaign with Croatian first-tier club HNK Rijeka, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further two from his position in attacking midfield.
Perhaps most impressively, Fruk put in a devastating performance against then-league leaders HNK Hajduk Split on November 22nd, scoring a hat-trick and assisting another goal in a 5-0 win.
The player’s form even led to a Croatia debut, and he’s played five times for his country in their last six matches.
But if Arsenal are interested, they clearly haven’t progressed that interest to the negotiation stage just yet. It seems like the initial reports may have been nothing more than guesswork based on his agent’s location at the time.
