Arsenal loanee Maldini Kacurri has won his second consecutive Player of the Month award with Morecambe FC, as he continues to feature regularly for the side.

Morecambe FC announced on social media in midweek that Arsenal’s Maldini Kacurri has won their Player of the Month award for November, receiving over 50% of the votes.
The award is already Kacurri’s second of the campaign, having also been voted Morecambe’s Player of the Month in October.
This time around, Kacurri earned his spot with six consecutive starts for Morecambe, helping them to a couple of clean sheets and even scoring in their only win of the month.

There’s no denying that Morecambe are in a relegation fight this season, with their struggles pre-dating Kacurri’s arrival on loan.
But the team have managed to drag themselves off the bottom of the table up to 22nd, and they’re now just three points behind the nearest team outside of the relegation zone.
There’s still a long way to go if Morecambe are to achieve safety this season, and a recent defeat in a “six-pointer” against 20th-placed Braintree Town was particularly damaging. But if they’re to have any chance of staying up, it looks like Kacurri will play a major role.

Arsenal haven’t always had the best record with lower-league loanees going out and playing regular football, but Kacurri can have no complaints about his minutes.
In Morecambe’s 16 National League games since Kacurri’s arrival, he’s started 15 times. The only match he missed was through suspension.
Clearly the fans are pleased with what they’re seeing, and Kacurri will want to keep working to ensure this November Player of the Month award isn’t his last of the campaign.
