The Premier League and BBC Teams of the Week both include Arsenal players, following the Gunners’ 1-0 win away to Everton on Saturday.

The Premier League and the BBC have now revealed their Teams of the Week for Matchweek 17, with one Arsenal player featuring in each of the two sides after Saturday’s 1-0 win over Everton.
Starting with Alan Shearer’s Premier League team, the former Newcastle United striker selected Declan Rice for inclusion.
Shearer pointed out that “once more [Rice] was everywhere for Arsenal at Everton, making crucial interceptions and passes”.

As for the BBC, Troy Deeney didn’t pick Rice, but he did select Piero Hincapie for his side.
Deeney suggested Hincapie is “slightly going under the radar for Arsenal” adding that the player “has been excellent” and put in “a solid performance against Everton”.

Rice completed 90% of his passes in Arsenal’s 1-0 win, creating two chances including one big chance and making 10 defensive contributions. The midfielder also won seven of his nine individual duels in a battling performance.
As for Hincapie, the centre-back made one tackle, two interceptions, and 10 clearances to keep Everton out, as well as blocking a shot and making a recovery. Again, he won more duels than he lost and complete 93% of his passes.
The pair certainly had a major role to play in Arsenal’s first win at Everton’s new ground, and it’s nice to see that recognised.
