Arsenal have scouted on-loan Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Diant Ramaj on multiple occasions, according to a report from Germany.

Niclas Borner reports for German outlet sport.de that Diant Ramaj has been scouted several times by Arsenal, citing information from both n-tv.de and their own sources.
Ramaj’s progress in the Bundesliga has reportedly prompted Arsenal to take a closer look, sending scouts to Germany. The report suggests the goalkeeper would be a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s playing philosophy.
Ramaj is currently on loan with FC Heidenheim, but he’ll return to parent club Borussia Dortmund in the summer. Borner’s report adds that if Gregor Kobel remains at Dortmund, the goalkeeper position would already be filled, increasing the odds of Ramaj’s transfer to Arsenal.

This isn’t the first time Ramaj has been linked with Arsenal, with relatively strong rumours between the goalkeeper and the Gunners just last year as a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsdale.
At the time, Ramaj was playing for Ajax, and he responded to the gossip by saying: “I see the fact that big clubs are showing interest as a compliment. I will continue to work on everything, as I am doing now.”
In the end, Ramaj opted to remain with Ajax that summer, before joining Dortmund at the end of the 2025 January transfer window. Two loans later, it seems another move could be on the cards next year.

Ramaj joined Dortmund for around €5m (£4.4m), though they’d likely try to charge a premium for a transfer on to Arsenal.
For now, the Gunners are just keeping an eye on the 24-year-old.
