Arsenal aren’t looking to sell anyone in the January transfer window, though it wouldn’t be surprising if there were offers for Myles Lewis-Skelly.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that Arsenal aren’t actively seeking to sell any first-team players in the January transfer window. With the team still competing on all fronts, they’re looking instead to maintain their squad depth for the second half of the season.
Yet with Myles Lewis-Skelly’s England spot at stake ahead of the 2026 World Cup, McNicholas adds that it wouldn’t be a great surprise if other Premier League clubs tested Arsenal with enquiries.
The player remains committed to Arsenal, and there’s no indication they want to sell. Lewis-Skelly also seemingly remains part of Mikel Arteta’s plans. But the England angle is evidently one a rival club might try to push to secure a January move.

McNicholas also adds that the likes of Ben White and Gabriel Jesus could attract suitors in 2026 given their limited minutes, but that’s perhaps more of a summer concern.
Given Arsenal’s spending in 2025, they’ll need to offload players before making big new signings next year.
Arsenal certainly seem to be in a good position with regards to the squad. When everyone is fit, there are strong options for both starts and rotation, and current estimates suggest all the injured players will be back by the end of this month.

A hectic December creates plenty of opportunities for further setbacks, and perhaps that could change the thinking around January. But right now, it seems like Arsenal have just the right numbers in the squad.
