Arsenal have reportedly added Aleksandar Stanković to their list of midfield targets after monitoring his early impact at Club Brugge, according to a report by L’Interista.

The 20-year-old joined the Belgian champions from Inter Milan in July and has established himself quickly, playing in 30 matches in all competitions.
His performances in the Jupiler Pro League and Champions League have drawn attention from several clubs, with Arsenal now cited as one of those tracking his progress closely.
The report claims there is “great interest” from the Premier League side.
Any move would, however, be complicated by Inter Milan retaining significant control over the player’s future. Stanković is under contract with Club Brugge until 2029, but Inter negotiated a buy back clause when sanctioning his permanent departure.
That clause is reported to stand at €23m for next summer, rising to €25m in 2027.

According to L’Interista, Inter have already decided to activate the clause at the end of the current season, meaning any interested club would need to offer well above that figure to persuade the Serie A side to sell him on immediately.
As a result, Arsenal would be required to make a substantial financial commitment to move the deal forward for a player who is still only valued at €15m.
Stanković, a Serbia international, came through Inter’s academy and spent last season on loan at FC Luzern, where he played 37 league matches and scored three goals. That spell provided his first extended run of senior football and laid the groundwork for his move to Belgium.
At international level, he has represented Serbia at every youth age group and made his senior debut in October 2025. He scored his first senior international goal in a 2-1 World Cup qualifier win over Latvia in November and now has four caps.
Primarily a defensive midfielder, Stanković is also comfortable at centre back and in central midfield. He is regarded as one of the more promising young deep midfielders in Europe, combining physical presence with composure in possession and tactical flexibility.
The player is the son of former Lazio and Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stanković, and has previously spoken about opting to represent Serbia despite approaches from Italy.
