Former Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is training with the Arsenal u21s as he keeps himself fit in the search for a new club.

The media were in attendance for Arsenal’s training session on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash away to Slavia Prague, and they spotted a familiar face taking part in the u21 session alongside first-team training.
Former Arsenal winger and midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had joined the Gunners youngsters for Monday’s session, and Dharmesh Sheth reports for Sky Sports that he’s there to keep his fitness up given his status as a free agent.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was most recently on the books with Besiktas, but he terminated his contract in August, freeing him up to join a new club even after the transfer window closed.
Sheth reports for Sky Sports that the player has got a number of offers on the table from clubs around Europe, but his preference is to stay in England.
Birmingham City were one of the clubs reportedly interested over the summer, but the move never came to fruition.

Oxlade-Chamberlain isn’t the first former Arsenal player to come back and train with the club as a free agent in recent weeks, with Tyreece John-Jules doing the same thing.
John-Jules first trained with the u21s in early October, then with the senior side, and he’s since been handed a contract by Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock FC.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will hope his situation has a similarly swift resolution.
