Arsenal youngster Max Dowman won yet another penalty on Wednesday, earning the spot-kick in an England u19 victory over Lithuania.

In his limited minutes with the Arsenal first-team in pre-season and the early months of the new campaign, 15-year-old Max Dowman has already won multiple penalties for the side with his quick feet.
The teenager is currently away with the England u19s over the international break, and it’s the same story with his country. Defenders can’t handle his changes of pace in the penalty area, which showed again on Wednesday.

The England u19s are currently playing in qualifiers for Euro 2026, and Dowman started as they took on Lithuania in midweek.
Within 15 minutes, the Arsenal midfielder held off one player expertly, charged into the penalty area, and chopped past another defender before being brought down.
The referee had no hesitation in awarding the spot-kick, and Shumaira Mheuka stepped up to convert. Mheuka completed his brace in the second half, and the match ended 2-0.

Dowman played 61 minutes of the contest, and he’s likely to be involved again over the next couple of fixtures. England face Latvia on Saturday, November 15th at 10:00 GMT and Scotland on Tuesday, November 18th at 10:00 GMT.
With Scotland drawing against Latvia in the other game, England are two points clear at the top of the group after the opening fixtures.
