Former Arsenal academy winger Amario Cozier-Duberry has won the PFA League One Fans’ Player of the Month award, after a very strong October.

The PFA confirmed this week that Amario Cozier-Duberry has received their award for the Fans’ Player of the Month for October, having scored two goals and assisted two goals in his four fixtures.
That included assisting the deciding goal in Bolton Wanderers’ 2-1 win over Peterborough United, scoring the winning goal away to Huddersfield Town, and scoring another winner at home to Cardiff City.
Given Cozier-Duberry also assisted the equaliser against Huddersfield, his goal contributions won Bolton seven points of the nine they achieved in October.

The 20-year-old doesn’t look to be slowing down either, having already scored two goals and assisted two more in November. A good performance against Jack Wilshere’s Luton Town side next weekend could put the youngster in contention for more monthly awards.
Cozier-Duberry was very highly regarded with Arsenal, often touted as a future alternative to Bukayo Saka in the first-team squad. But that’s not how it panned out, with Cozier-Duberry rejecting contract offers from the Gunners and signing for Brighton and Hove Albion instead.
Brighton quickly loaned the winger out to Championship side Blackburn Rovers, but the transition to senior football proved to be a tricky one. Cozier-Duberry scored just one goal in 23 games in 2024/25, assisting none.

Dropping down to League One with Bolton Wanderers this season, it’s been a completely different story, and Cozier-Duberry now has 14 goal contributions in 18 games.
