Bukayo Saka has confirmed his engagement to his long-term partner Tolami Benson, following a private proposal at a luxury London hotel.
The 24-year-old Arsenal and England forward proposed during a romantic stay in the capital, with the couple later sharing a series of understated black and white photographs on social media.
One image prominently displayed the engagement ring, while others showed the pair relaxing inside their hotel suite. You can see them above.
A source told The Sun: ‘‘Bukayo went all out for the proposal – and the ring he chose is absolutely enormous.’’
Saka and Benson are believed to have begun their relationship in 2020 and keep their private lives away from the public eye. Their relationship first became public at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when they were photographed together in the stands in Doha.
Originally from Hatfield in Hertfordshire, Benson studied public relations and media at Birmingham City University. She previously worked on the shop floor at Harrods and has built a career in public relations. In May she began a new role as a senior planning executive at Zenith.
