Arsenal have confirmed the four nominees for Player of the Month for October, with Gabriel Magalhaes, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Jurrien Timber all shortlisted.

Any of the four would be a first-time winner of the award this season, with Riccardo Calafiori winning the vote in August and Gabriel Martinelli in September.

You can vote for your favourite here on the Arsenal website.

Timber is possibly the favourite, given he was even nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award in October.

The right-back won a penalty against West Ham United, helped create the second goal against Brighton with a fantastic driving run, and was a big part in Arsenal avoiding conceding a single goal in October.

But Gabriel will also take a big slice of the credit for those clean sheets, and he also scored against Atletico Madrid and provided two assists in October. His impact in the Champions League games could give him an edge despite Timber’s domestic award nominations.

Then there’s Rice, who scored against his former club West Ham United and provided an assist against Atletico Madrid. One of his free-kicks also led to the winning goal against Crystal Palace.

Last but not least, Saka scored three goals for Arsenal in October, and he was arguably the standout player against Fulham and Atletico Madrid despite not getting a goal or assist for his efforts.

Any of the four would be a worthy winner, and Arsenal will reveal the results soon.
