The move to the Isthmian League Premier Division side marks Oyetunde’s first spell in senior football, having signed his first professional contract with Arsenal earlier this year.

A dynamic forward capable of operating across the front line, Oyetunde has built a reputation within the academy for his intelligent movement and ability to play above his age group, featuring for the under-21s while still a schoolboy.

Oyetunde will be eligible to make his debut this weekend in St Albans City’s FA Cup first-round tie against League One side Burton Albion, a significant step in the next stage of his development.

Arsenal confirmed the move on Friday, wishing him success during the loan spell and emphasising the importance of competitive senior football in his progression. The club said it “looks forward to seeing his continued development” before his expected return to north London later this year.

The loan will give Oyetunde valuable exposure to senior opposition and the physical demands of men’s football, providing a benchmark for his next phase within Arsenal’s development structure.
