Arsenal open to offers for 3 players in January

Arsenal would consider offers for three players in the January transfer window, including loan offers for Ethan Nwaneri, according to a report.

Isaan Khan reports for the Daily Mail that Arsenal would be open to offers for a few players in the January transfer window, despite an expectation that 95% of the current squad will remain unchanged by the deadline.

One player potentially on the market is Ethan Nwaneri, but only on a loan basis. Arsenal are reportedly aware that Nwaneri needs consistent minutes to continue his development, and that there might be opportunities available in the winter window.

On top of Nwaneri, Arsenal would be willing to listen if there’s a significant offer for Gabriel Martinelli, particularly if past interest from Saudi Arabia develops.

Given Leandro Trossard’s form and the arrival of Noni Madueke, Arsenal apparently feel they have some flexibility to make a sale in that position.

The third player potentially up for grabs is Ben White, with Khan again reporting that Arsenal are open to offers for the defender. White has struggled for minutes so far this season, with an injury setback in August disrupting his momentum.

You’d think that Martinelli’s status in the January window will depend on his form when he returns from injury in the coming days or weeks.

The Brazilian has scored four goals and assisted one in his first 12 appearances prior to his fitness setback, averaging a goal contribution every 96 minutes. If he can keep that record going, he’ll be too valuable to sell.

White also seems like an important member of the current squad, with only an injury to Jurrien Timber between him and a first-choice starting role. Timber has been excellent and consistently fit in 2025/26 so far, which is why White hasn’t played more.
