Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Magalhaes have both been included in WhoScored’s Team of the Season so far for Europe’s Top-Five Leagues.

WhoScored have confirmed their Team of the Season so far for Europe’s top-five leagues, and Arsenal duo Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Magalhaes both feature.

Timber has an average rating of 7.21 this season, whilst Gabriel is at 7.30, meaning both are the best-rated players in their respective positions.

Neither Timber’s inclusion nor Gabriel’s is particularly surprising, especially given they’re both coming off the back of very strong Octobers.

Arsenal fans voted Gabriel their Player of the Month for October, and Timber was nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month as well as the club award.

The Gunners have had the strongest defence across Europe’s top-five leagues so far in 2025/26, and it makes sense that WhoScored recognise the performances of two key members of that backline.

Perhaps there’s a warning sign in the team in the form of three Bayern Munich players, with Arsenal facing the German club later this month.

Michael Olise, Harry Kane, and Luis Diaz all feature in WhoScored’s team, though it’s worth mentioning that Diaz won’t be available to play against Arsenal due to suspension.

The other two will need to be dealt with by the likes of Timber and Gabriel if Mikel Arteta hopes to end the game with three points.
