Four Arsenal players have been called up by England for the October international break, with Bukayo Saka returning to the fold.

Thomas Tuchel has named his England squad for the October break, with Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, and Bukayo Saka all featuring in it.
It’s no surprise to see Rice and Eze included, as they’ve both been regulars in the England squad for a while now.
Then Saka has consistently been one of England’s best players over the last few years, but he’s hardly featured at all under Tuchel due to injury. Now that he’s back fit, he should play a key role for the new England manager.

It’s encouraging to see Lewis-Skelly continuing to get call-ups, despite his more limited minutes with Arsenal lately. The youngster did excellently in his appearance against Olympiacos in midweek, so it doesn’t seem like his level has dropped despite more inconsistent gametime.
Noni Madueke misses out due to injury, with no expectation he’ll be back until November.
Ben White also remains absent, despite plenty of reports in the past that Tuchel is now considering him as an option after his long absence. He probably just hasn’t played enough with Arsenal to win a spot amid his own recent injury concerns.

England face Wales in a friendly game on Thursday, October 9th, before playing a World Cup qualifier away to Latvia on Tuesday, October 14th.
England are in a good position to qualify for the World Cup, having won all of their matches
