The Premier League have confirmed that Arsenal’s Andre Harriman-Annous has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September.

The Premier League have announced their eight nominees for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September, with Arsenal striker Andre Harriman-Annous on the shortlist.
Harriman-Annous is joined by Fulham duo Farhaan Ali Wahid and Aaron Loupalo-Bi, Spurs’ Rio Kyerematen and Luca Williams-Barnett, Southampton’s Romeo Akachukwu, Brighton’s Joe Belmont, and Ipswich Town’s Tudor Mendel-Idowu.

No one scored more goals than Harriman-Annous’ three in September, though the Premier League have mistakenly credited Harriman-Annous with the winner against Derby County – scored by Osman Kamara.
All the same, Harriman-Annous did score three goals in September, as he grabbed two in the 3-2 comeback win over Wolves and another in the 2-1 comeback win over Newport County.
Only Williams-Barnett provided more goal contributions in September, but his three domestic goals and one assist came in a single game against Leicester City, and two of those were while his team were already winning.
By contrast, all of Harriman-Annous’ three goals were when Arsenal were behind or level.

The nominees were put forward by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will also decide the winner. The Premier League will announce the result later this week.
