Arsenal youth summer signing Demiane Agustien scored his first international goal on Tuesday, netting for the Netherlands u19s in a match against France.

18-year-old midfielder Demiane Agustien joined Arsenal over the summer, turning down a new contract with Derby County to move to north London instead.
Given the player’s age, Arsenal still had to pay an undisclosed transfer fee to complete the move, but the player’s expiring contract would have at least reduced the amount the Gunners owed.
Having played for Arsenal for a couple of months now, Agustien has been away with the Netherlands u19s over the October break, and he made the starting lineup for a game against France on Tuesday.

France took the lead in the early stages, but just before half time Agustien hit back with an equaliser, his first-ever international goal.
The youngster had previously represented the Curacao u17s and the Netherlands u18s on a few occasions, but he’d never been on the scoresheet until this week.
Agustien has made a positive start with Arsenal, making the starting lineup four times already and coming off the bench on a further four occasions.

The teenager will now return to north London and start preparing for the Arsenal u19s UEFA Youth League match against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, October 21st at 13:00 BST.
