Arsenal winger Vivienne Lia has joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the 2025/26 campaign, with the move now confirmed ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

The Arsenal Women have sent Vivienne Lia out on loan to Nottingham Forest for the 2025/26 campaign, with the Gunners confirming the news on Wednesday night.
The loan is Lia’s second of her senior career, having spent time with Southampton in the second half of 2024/25. The teenager played 561 minutes across six starts and three substitute appearances with the Saints, developing well and showing versatility.
Lia can play right-back, left-back, right-wing, or left-wing, so she should make a useful addition to the Nottingham Forest squad.

Lia already made her Arsenal first-team debut back in February 2024, and she’s regularly been involved with senior training in recent seasons. She was also part of previous post-season trips to Australia and the USA.
Internationally, Lia has played for the England u17s and the u19s, representing her country at the European Championships at both levels.

The hope now is that another year of experience and development with Nottingham Forest can help get the youngster ready to eventually become an Arsenal first-team regular.
