American actress Reese Witherspoon has confirmed she’s now part of an Arsenal-supporting family, with her sons particularly loving Riccardo Calafiori.

Reese Witherspoon is a world-famous actress and film producer, appearing in and working on dozens of films and TV shows in her 34-year career so far.
Born in Louisiana, largely working in the United States, and marrying two Americans, Witherspoon doesn’t appear to have any obvious connections to north London.
Yet in an interview with the BBC’s The One Show this week, the Oscar-winning star revealed her children support Arsenal.

“Yeah, my sons are huge Arsenal fans,” Witherspoon confirmed. “They are so excited about Calafiori.
“They love Odegaard, they love Rice, and they love Calafiori. So they really watch it.”
This isn’t even the first time Witherspoon has mentioned the Gunners on The One Show, saying in 2023: “If there’s space (to invest) in Arsenal, all my sons and everybody would be really excited. That’s our favourite team. We watched the game the other day. It was bananas! That’s our team.”

Witherspoon’s son’s Deacon Phillipe and Tennessee James Toth are 21 and 12 respectively, and they’re clearly bridging that age gap with a love of Arsenal Football Club. Many fans with football-loving siblings can probably relate to that.
Back in the U.S., Witherspoon is an investor in MLS side Nashville SC, and she’s been seen attending their matches with family in the past. Perhaps a trip to the Emirates Stadium could be on the cards someday.
