Newcastle United will face Arsenal without Fabian Schär, Jacob Ramsey and Yoane Wissa, while youngster Park Seung-soo has hinted at a knock.

Newcastle United will host Arsenal this weekend without Fabian Schär, who has confirmed he will miss “a few games” after sustaining a head injury during the Champions League defeat to Barcelona.
Newcastle’s problems are not limited to Schär.
Jacob Ramsey remains out with a foot injury and deadline-day arrival Yoane Wissa is still waiting for his debut, with his knee issue unlikely to clear before the international break.

Howe said earlier this week: “Yoane is here and receiving treatment. No operation needed. I think we’re looking at the other side of the international break and hoping he’ll be fit and available for that first game.”
There is also concern over 18-year-old Park Seung-soo, signed from Suwon Samsung Bluewings earlier this year. The South Korean hinted at a setback by posting a video on Instagram showing an ice pack on his knee, just weeks after Howe had praised his adaptation and suggested he could feature in the senior squad sooner than expected.
The one positive for Newcastle is the return of Anthony Gordon, who is available again after serving a suspension.
